01. William De Beauchamp, [1] son of Walcheline and Joan was born abt 1215 in Elmley Castle, Worcestershire, England. He married Isabel De Mauduit, daughter of William Maudit and Alice De Newburg. Warwick and son of William and Isabel was born in 1237 in England. He
was an English nobleman and soldier, described as a "vigorous and innovative
military commander. He was active in the field against the Welsh for many
years, and at the end of his life campaigned against the Scots. He married
Maud FitzJohn, daughter of John FitzGeoffrey and Isabell
Bigod. William died about June 5, 1298 in Elmley, Worcestershire,
England.
05. William De Beauchamp, [1] 1st Baron Bergavenny and son of Thomas and Katherine was born in 1358 at Warwick Castle, Warwickshire, England. He married Joan FitzAlan, daughter of Richard FitzAlan and Elizabeth De Bohun. William died on May 8, 1411 in Abergavenny, England. 06. Joan De Beauchamp, [1] Countess of Ormond and daughter of William and Joan was born in 1396 in Abergavenny, England. She married James Butler, son of James Butler and Anne Wells. Joan died on August 3, 1430 in Surrey, England. I descend from their daughter Elizabeth Butler who married John Talbot. |
