John Alsop, son of Thomas was born in 1495 in Derbyshire, England  and died in 1560 in Derbyshire.  He married Jane Beresford (1496-1520), daughter of John Beresford (1460-1510).
GENERATION 3
George Alsop, son of John and Jane was born in 1520 in Derbyshire, England and died in 1581 in Derbyshire.  He married Joan Eggerton (1522-1580). They had 2 children.

John Alsop, son of George and Joan was born in 1547 in Derbyshire, England and died in 1602 in Derbyshire.  He married Anne (1574-1647) in 1573. They had 1 child.

Anthony Alsop, Esq., son of John and Anne was born in 1574 in Derbyshire, England and died in 1611 in Derbyshire.  He married Jane Smith (1574-1647), daughter of Richard Smith (c1550-) abt. Jan 27, 1593. They had 6 children.

John Alsop, son of Anthony and Jane was born abt. 1596 in Derbyshire, England and died in 1631 in Derbyshire. He married Temperance Gilbert (c1595-1648), daugther of William Gilbert (c1550-1607) and Anne Clere (c1560-1616) on May 1, 1617 in Derbyshire, England.  Temperance's line connects to British Nobility. They had 5 children.
GENERATION 7
Elizabeth Alsop, daughter of John and Temperance was born abt. 1622 in England and died abt. May 1683 in Milford, CT. She married Richard Baldwin (1622-1665) in New Haven, CT.  Elizabeth is a Gateway Ancestor whose ancestors connect to British nobility.
