Johann Raelzbach was born abt. 1600 in Eisern, Seigen-Wittgenstein, Germany and died in 1660 in Germany.

GENERATION 2

Doelman Tilman Rehlsbach, son of Johann and Anna was born in 1630 in Eisern, Seigen-Wittgenstein, Germany and died on Jan 31, 1675 in Siegen.  He married Gerdraut Kroppach (1635-1692) on Jul 29, 1656 in Evangelisch, Prussia.  They had 3 children.

GENERATION 3

Johann Diederich Raeltzbach, son of Doelman and Gerdraut was born on May 8, 1667 in Eisern, Seigen-Wittgenstein, Germany and died in 1700 in Rodgen, Bitterfeld, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany.  He married Gerdraut Kloeckener (1662-1741). They had 4 children.

GENERATION 4

Johann Georg Railsback, son of Johann and Gerdraut was born on Nov 3, 1697 in Eisern, Seigen-Wittgenstein, Germanyand died on Dec 3, 1750 in Siegen-Wittgenstein, Germany.  He married Maria Catharina Gerhard (1706-1777) on Oct 24, 1730 in Eisern.  They had 9 children.

GENERATION 5

Johann Henrich "Henry" Railsback, son of Johann and Maria was born on Mar 27, 1736 in Eisern, Seigen-Wittgenstein, Germany and died on Sep 15, 1815 in Rowan, NC. He married Anna Maria Enteneur (1737-1786) on Sep 13, 1757 in Eisern.  They had 9 children. He married (2) Margaret Elizabeth Call (1738-) on Feb 16, 1788.

GENERATION 6

David Railsback, son of Johann and Anna was born on Dec 12, 1768 in Rowan, NC and died on Oct 17, 1856 in Wayne, IN. He married (1) Elizabeth Ellis (1756-1793) on Oct 13, 1791 in Rowan, NC.  He married (2) Sarah Sallie Stevens (1773-1858) in 1794 in Rowan, NC.  They had 12 children.

GENERATION 7

Edward Mahlon Railsback, son of David and Sarah was born on Feb 8, 1802 in Wayne, IN and died on Dec 4, 1859 in Wapello, IA. He married (1) Francina Rachel Hunt (1806-1845) on Aug 8, 1822 in Union, IN.  He married (2) Rebecca Sangdon (1810-) on Apr 8, 1846 in Wapello, IA.  He married (3) Catherine Hootman (1821-1862) on Feb 21, 1849 in Van Buren, IN. 5 Children with Catherine: 1 Olive Railsback (Jan 21, 1851 in Wapello, IA - Apr 8, 1937 in Sturgis, SD) Married James E.
