Born in Wellington, Kansas, Dock moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1900 when he was 20. In 1906, he married Margaret J. Calloway and operated a bakery in Springfield, Oregon and later a hardware store until 1920. They moved to Walla Walla where he managed and later owned a funeral home, which he operated until his death at 88. A lot of information about the Marshall side of the family was obtained by logs kept by Dock. |
